  • Physics of the 20th century has made great progress in understanding matter from microscopic to cosmis scales. The study of living matter has become one of the central themes of physics in the new century. We will briefly explain a few basic notions in molecular biology, indicate some interesting problems as well assummarize our recent work in bioinformatics.
