Applications of water research in biology,the environment and material science

  • Water is universal in nature, and plays a major role in many processes on our Earth. Hence, interdisciplinary research is very important in the study of water science, which will thus also be stimulated by the development and requirements of other fields. This article reviews the recent research progress and applications involving water in biology, environmental science,and the material sciences,with discussions on the important role and application prospects of water in these fields.
