Acoustic communication and its recent progress

The only way to exchange information under water over a long distance is by acoustic means, so acoustic communication is becoming an active area of research. We shall describe the significance of acoustic communication, its principle and system architecture, and its history and development. Finally, we shall review the progress of high－speed acoustic communication research in our institute.
