  • Published Date: March 19, 2011
  • Understanding the nature of dark matter is a big challenge to the physics of our time. We briefly review the early history of the discovery of dark matter, the evidence of its existence from observations, its candidates, and the origin of its abundance in particle physics. An overview is given of the latest progress in its direct and indirect detections, and of the recent theoretical studies.
