Abstract
Electron spin is as important as electron′s charge in high-Tc superconductors. In this article we give a brief overview of the electronic structure, magnetic interaction and recent experimental results for superconducting one-unit-thick layers of La1.85Sr0.15CuO4. 〖CM(20〗We conclude that the effective spin coupling of〖CM)〗electrons is responsible for the origin of high-Tc superconductivity.
