Hybrid qubits in semiconductor quantum dots

  • We introduce the hybrid qubit in semiconductor systems. Compared with the spin qubit and charge qubit, the hybrid qubit can have both long coherence time and fast operation. After a review of the development of hybrid qubits, we describe our recent work at the University of Science and Technology of China in improving the properties of hybrid qubits.
