Dark energy: observational evidence and theoretical studies

Many astronomical observations have accumulated since the accelerated expansion of the universe,which indicates that there exists a negative pressure energy component (dark energy) in the universe, was discovered in 1998.Dark energy is now one of the most important issues in modern cosmology and theoretical physics.We review the current status and propects of astronomical observations and theoretical studies of dark energy.
