Abstract

On the basis of China＇s own technology and industry, the “Shenguang” inertial confinement fusion (ICF) research devices were built, and a series of world-class results achieved. In this paper, the history of ICF research in the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics is reviewed.
