Footprints of the astronomical telescope

A brief history of the telescope is presented in a light style. The birth of the telescope, aberration and achromatic lenses, traditional reflectors and refractors, Schmidt telescopes, modern giant telescopes, space and moon-based telescopes are successively introduced in the seven parts of this paper.
