  • Studies on the mechanisms of energetic electron generation with relativistic-intense laser pulses in plasma has been a subject attracting a great deal of interest owing to the advent of ultra-short intense laser pulses. In this communication, we introduce a new mechanism of electron acceleration proposed recently, the stochastic acceleration in colliding laser fields.
