Spin polarization electron microscopy and monte-carlo simulation

Spin correlated elastic and inelastic electron scattering processes are briefly described. The characterization, production and measurement of spinpolarized beams as well as their application in low energy electron microscopy are summarized. A simple Monte-Carlo model is introduced to calculate the spinpolarized electron scattering process.
