Clustering in nuclei

The formation of clustering is one of the most interesting phenomena in nuclear physics, and single-particle motion, collective motion and cluster motion are the three main modes in nuclei. How to describe this kind of complicated correlation has always been a crucial problem in nuclear physics. Nuclear cluster phenomena, the historical development of cluster models, and alpha condensation are briefly reviewed.
