  • High-temperature multiferroics and strong magnetoelectric effects are two key aspects in the field of multiferroic materials. This article introduces the classification of single-phase multiferroics, and reviews briefly a number of representative systems that exhibit high-temperature multiferroics and strong magnetoelectric effects, such as hexaferrites, charge-ordered oxides, and metal-organic frameworks.
