光子百年:理论星火与技术革新

A hundred years of the photon:theoretical inspirations and technological innovations

  • 摘要: 光学是人类认知自然、探索物质世界的古老学科,从经典几何光学、波动光学一直至现代的量子光学体系,人类对光的认识已历经了数千年。文章以光量子百年的发展为主线,系统梳理光量子理论的萌芽、理论构建、实验验证等过程,深入剖析普朗克量子化理论、爱因斯坦光量子假说、量子电动力学等核心理论的演进逻辑与科学价值。同时,也概括性地总结激光技术、单光子源、量子纠缠、量子密钥分发、光量子计算与模拟、光量子存储等核心技术的发展脉络,并梳理中国科研团队从跟跑到并跑、领跑的跨越式发展成果。最后结合全球科技发展趋势,展望光量子技术的未来发展方向,为光量子基础研究与产业落地提供参考与借鉴。

     

    Abstract: Optics is an ancient discipline through which humanity has understood nature and explored the material world. From classical geometrical optics and wave optics to the modern framework of quantum optics, our understanding of light has evolved over thousands of years. Taking the century-long development of the photon as its main thread, this article reviews the emergence, theoretical construction, and experimental verification of the quantum theory of light. It provides an in‑depth analysis of the evolutionary logic and scientific significance of core theories, including Planck’s quantization theory, Einstein’s light quantum hypothesis, and quantum electrodynamics. Furthermore, we summarize the development of core technologies involving lasers, single-photon sources, quantum entanglement, quantum key distribution, photonic quantum computation and simulation, and photonic quantum memories. We also review the achievements of China’s research teams—from following and keeping pace to taking a leading role in this field. Finally, in light of global trends in science and technology, we offer an outlook on future directions of photonic quantum technologies, providing references and insights for both fundamental research and industrial implementation.
