A NEW MECHANISM OF ELECTRON ACCELERATION WITH RELATIVISTIC-INTENSE LASER PULSES IN PLASMA

  • 摘要: 相对论强激光与等离子体相互作用中高能电子的产生机制是近年来一直被广泛重视的课题.文章扼要介绍了其中主要的几种加速机制,并特别介绍了作者最近提出的电子在对撞激光场中的随机加速机制.

     

    Abstract: Studies on the mechanisms of energetic electron generation with relativistic-intense laser pulses in plasma has been a subject attracting a great deal of interest owing to the advent of ultra-short intense laser pulses. In this communication, we introduce a new mechanism of electron acceleration proposed recently, the stochastic acceleration in colliding laser fields.
