Higgs boson property measurements

  • 摘要: 2012年大型强子对撞机上的ATLAS和CMS实验发现希格斯粒子,这是粒子物理发展的一个里程碑。这一重大发现揭示了基本粒子质量的起源,极大地深化了人类对于物质世界的认知。希格斯粒子发现之后,测量希格斯粒子的性质是检验粒子物理标准模型并寻找新物理的重要途径。文章从质量、自旋、宇称和耦合等方面介绍希格斯粒子的性质测量。

     

    Abstract: The discovery of the Higgs boson by the ATLAS and CMS experiments was a milestone in particle physics, which revealed how elementary particles acquire masses. After the discovery, Higgs boson property measurements became a crucial method to test the Standard Model of particle physics, and to search for new physics beyond. This article provides an introduction to the measurements of the Higgs boson properties at the Large Hadron Collider, with regard to its mass, spin, parity, and couplings.
